Confidential Destruction Range
U-5
The U-5 is a unique and versatile machine bespoke for the destruction of electronic media, tapes and hard disc drives. It is available in both single phase 240v drive and 400v three phase options for in-house operation.

U-15
Utilising a robust 15kW high torque drive system the U-15 can handle a wide range of difficult Shredding tasks. With knife sizes ranging from 6mm up to over 31mm available in numerous profile geometries, flexibility is the key to this models success.

U-15H
The U-15H is fitted with a hydraulically driven paper compactor ensuring maximum payload is always achieved when dealing with larger archive clear-outs. Again utilising all the power and flexibility of the U-15, these models will ensure the job gets properly done

Ulster Shredders engineering capability, from concept design through to final product assembly and performance testing, offers a unique one stop shop solution.

Often the success of a shredder depends not only on the horsepower which drives it, but also on how the product to be shredded is fed and discharged from it. Ulster Shredders designs and supplies stand-alone machines as well as complete turnkey recycling systems, tailored to the customers specific needs.

Ulster Shredders Design and R&D Department have repeatedly implemented cost effective solutions to satisfy customers’ unique requirements.

Ulster Shredders employs up-to-date 2D and 3D CAD systems to support the design and research and development of its products. Ulster Shredders utilises Autodesk Inventor, a 3D solid modelling and 2D draughting software package. This allows virtual 3D modelling of components along with the creation of 2D manufacture drawings directly from the model thus ensuring very high design / manufacturing integrity and reduced product design lead times. In addition, utilising AutoCAD software, we can readily interface with other third party software, providing direct engineering information transfer with our customers.
