Man In Court Over 'Suitcase' Death
A man will appear in court today charged with the murder of a young woman in Hampshire.
The charred remains of Sylwia Sobczak, 26, of Tottenham, were found in a suitcase by a passer-by half a mile from the centre of Dummer - a wealthy Hampshire village - on May 8.
Yesterday, police said that the deceased young woman was of Polish origin.
Detective Chief Inspector Gary O'Flaherty of Hampshire police's major crime department appealed for witnesses after the gruesome discovery.
O'Flaherty also thanked residents of Dummer for their cooperation.
It is believed Miss Sobczak was already dead before the case was set alight.
Twenty-seven-year-old Ziaul Haque, of Camden Town was arrested last Wednesday in connection with the murder. Police were given additional time to question him and he was charged with her murder yesteday.
He will appear before Basingstoke Magistrates Court today.

Missing Schoolgirl Found On Isle of Wight
Hampshire Police have reported that a missing 15-year-old schoolgirl has been found "safe and well". The teenager from Southhampton was last seen on Saturday on the Isle of Wight. She is said to have been in the company of a man. A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of child abduction, police have said.

Iceland has apologised after a girl found a clump of cowhide hair in a home-cooked lasagne made with a packet of their frozen beef mince. ITV reports that Trudy Stock, of Gosport, Hampshire, served her daughter, Shani, 7, the dish when she came across the object in her food. "It's completely traumatised her now. Tourist In Coma After Balcony Fall
A young British tourist is critically ill in hospital in Ibiza after falling from a hotel balcony. Ryan Elley, 20, from Portsmouth, Hampshire, suffered bleeding on the brain after falling two storeys at Jet Apartments in Playa d'en Bossa on Sunday. He has been placed in a medical coma in Son Dureta hospital in Palma, Majorca.

Woman Charged With Child Sex Abuse
A 39-year-old woman has been charged with sexually abusing a child and taking and distributing an indecent image, following an investigation into paedophiles at a Plymouth nursery. Tracy Lyons, from Portsmouth, has been remanded in custody until 18 January 2010 after appearing before South East Hampshire Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

Arrests Made Over 2006 Double Murder
Officers from Trident, investigating gun crime in the capital, have arrested one man and two women in connection with the murder of Jordan Jackson and Leyla Djemal-Northcott in 2006. Following new information, police used a specialist diving team to search the Regent's Canal for the murder weapon.
