Man arrested after body is found in east Belfast
The Police Service of Northern Ireland have arrested one man following the discovery of a man's body in east Belfast.
The police found the body early on Monday morning at Lord Street in the Mountpottinger area of east Belfast after a neighbour called around 3.30am.
The man who was from the area, was found in the living room, and is thought to have suffered head injuries. The police are not at this stage treating his death as murder but as suspicious. They also do not believe the man's death was sectarian.
The victim's name has not yet been released. (AMcE)

Man arrested following east Belfast stabbing
Police have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with a stabbing in the Mount area of East Belfast. The victim, a 42-year-old man, sustained a stab wound to the chest and was taken to hospital where his description is described as "serious but stable." The attack occurred at around 8.20am on Monday.

54-Year-Old Arrested Over 1993 UVF Murder
A 54-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the 1993 murder of Joseph Reynolds. UVF gunmen ambushed Mr Reynolds van on Sydenham Road as he was driving to work on 12 October 1993. Three others were injured in the attack. The investigation into the murder was reopened last year, with a number of arrests being made.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of Conor McKee
A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Conor McKee. Mr McKee was found dead at his home in Glenpark Street in north Belfast on Thursday, 07 January. He had been shot a number of times. The suspect is being questioned at a police station in Belfast.

A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a report of an assault at licenced premises at the Rathfriland Road area of Dromara. Detective Inspector Bell said: "Shortly before 10:10pm on Friday 15th December, it was reported that an altercation occurred at a bar in the area following three men refused entry to the premises.

Man Dies In Portadown Road Crash
An 18-year-old man has died following a collision in Portadown. The crash happened on the Dungannon Road between midnight and 12.30am on Wednesday, 08 November. The road has been re-opened. Elsewhere, a man, aged in his 30's, has died in a road collision in Co Antrim.
