GAA Scores Dungiven Boost

Both local builders and Gaelic sports are in for a boost in Co Londonderry with news that the main construction work is progressing on site for a 10-month contract valued in the region of £2m to build a new supporters' stand.

In addition the scheme will see the construction of a new supporters store, additional training pitches, including dugouts, the installation of new floodlighting and the upgrade of existing floodlighting.

Associated landscaping will be carried out and car-parking facilities provided.

The architect is PDM Architects, the electrical subcontractor, P McColgan & Sons Ltd and the mechanical subcontractor, PJ Mullan Plumbing.

The main contractor is Corramore Construction.
