Two Arrested In Dissident Republican Investigation
Gardai investigating the activities of dissident Republicans have arrested two males and recovered firearms and ammunition.
As part of a planned operation detectives from the Special Detective Unit carried out a search of a house in the South inner city area of Dublin.
During the search three firearms and an assortment of ammunition were recovered.
Two men, aged in their 40s and 20s, were arrested.
They are currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act at Shankill and Kevin St. Garda Stations. The investigation is ongoing.

Suspected Weapons And Ammunition Discovered In Crossmaglen
Suspected weapons and ammunition have been uncovered during a Serious Crime Branch (SCB) operation the Crossmaglen, conducted on Monday 30 and Tuesday 31 October. During the extensive search operations, SCB officers were assisted by colleagues from Newry, Mourne & Down.

Cash Stash And Guns Seized
It has just emerged that police in north Belfast have seized guns and ammunition found in a house in north Belfast. The PSNI said that a "planned search" of a house in Baltic Avenue off the Antrim Road on Thursday evening uncovered a large sum of cash along with the weapons.

Man Charged Over Fermanagh Explosives Find
A man has been charged following police searches into dissident activity in County Fermanagh that uncovered home-made explosives, six pipe bombs, a firearm and around 100 rounds of ammunition. Around 500kg of fertilizer, timer units, detonators and fuses were found, along with forensic suits and gloves.

Ligoniel Security Alert Ends After 'Viable' Device Dealt With
A security alert in the Flush Road area of Ligoniel has now ended, following the discovery and safe disposal of a suspicious object described as "viable". Police were called to the scene at around 16:00 on Wednesday, 18 June, after receiving a report of the object.
