Shooting Incident In Carlisle Square

An appealing for information has been launched after a shooting incident in the Carlisle Square area on Sunday night.

Police in North Belfast that shortly before 8.15pm, it was reported that three masked males entered a house in the area and shot a 26-year-old man in both legs. He was taken to hospital for treatment for gun shot wounds to both lower legs. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact CID in Antrim Road Police Station on 0845 600 8000.

A PSNI spokesman added that if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Man Shot In The Legs In West Belfast
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a shooting incident in west Belfast. A man is being treated in hospital after being shot in the legs in an incident at Forfar Lane in the Springfield Road area, which occurred at around 21:15 on Monday 13 June.

PSNI Probe Suspected Shooting
Police are investigating a suspected shooting in Omagh, County Tyrone. Officers were called to the Thornlea area of the town on Tuesday evening, 13 August. The incident, involving a black motorcycle with two riders, is believed to have occurred between 8pm and 8.15pm. The motorcycle then headed in the direction of Deverney Road.

Police Investigate Armed Robbery At Ballycastle Supermarket
An investigation has been launched following the armed robbery of a supermarket in Ballycastle on Tuesday, 09 April. It was reported to police, that at around 11pm a masked man entered the Castle Street store carrying a spray bottle of an unknown substance. The man approached a cashier and demanded money, threatening them with the spray bottle.
