Two Northern Bank Branches To Close

The Northern Bank has confirmed it is to shut down two branches at the end of May.

Branches in Tandragee and Crossmaglen will be closing as they have been found "less sustainable than others".

Tony Wilcox, Managing Director of Retail and Private banking, said: "I fully understand that this news will be disappointing to some of our customers, but I would like to reassure them that Northern Bank is committed to continue to meet their banking needs."

No staff be made redundant and customer accounts will automatically be transferred to the Portadown or Newry branches.
