Man Killed In Car Collision

A man has been killed in a car crash in Londonderry.

Two other people have also been injured in the accident, which happened after midnight on Thursday at Alder Road.

Two cars were involved in the accident.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Woman killed in road accident near Dungannon
A woman has been killed in a road crash near Dungannon in County Tyrone. The accident occurred on the Ballygawley Road near to the Killymaddy Visitors Centre. Police say that the woman, who was understood to be in her 20s, but has not yet been named, was a passenger in a Rover car which was involved in a collision with two other vehicles.

Appeal For Information Following Collision In Ballymoney
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a single vehicle road traffic collision in Ballymoney yesterday, Tuesday 6th February. At around 3.40pm, it was reported to police that a grey Citroen C3 had collided with a pole on the Drones Road.

Man Killed In Car Accident
A man has been killed after being hit by a car at approximately 5am this morning near Dunmurry. Twenty-one-year-old Gerard Kane from the Colin Glen area in west Belfast was knocked down by a car on the Colin Glen Road. A PSNI spokesperson confirmed a man has been arrested and is being held for questioning.

Man killed in hijacked car accident named
A man who was travelling in a hijacked car has died following a road traffic collision in south Belfast on Thursday. The dead man, who has been named as Stephen Martin McDaid, 17, of Salisbury Avenue, north Belfast, was driving the stolen car when it collided with other vehicles, including a taxi, at around 8pm on Thursday.
