Men Charged After East Belfast Trouble
Seven men aged 19-31 have been charged with public order offences after disturbances after the annual Somme commemoration parade.
Although the parade passed off without incident, trouble erupted late on Monday and into the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Two other men were released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
£90 Parking Ticket Comes Into Force
The cost of a parking fine has jumped in Northern Ireland, as a £90 ticket came into force today.
The penalty used to be £30.
If the fine is paid within two weeks, it is half price at £45.
Regional Development Minister Danny Kennedy said: "Most people compy with parking restrictions. I would urge all drivers to park legally, be considerate of other road users and to make themselves familiar with the parking restrictions."
Grant Application Deadline Extended
Due to a high level of interest, the Coca-Cola Thank You Fund has extended its deadline for entries.
The £103K fund will now be accepting entries up until midnight on the 20th July.
It is open to community and voluntary groups promoting active lifestyles.

A year after responsibility for parking fines moved from the police to the Department for Regional Development (DRD), more than 140,000 tickets for illegal parking have been issued. New statistics show that since parking enforcement moved from the PSNI last October, 143,564 parking tickets were issued by DRD-contracted National Car Parks wardens.

Kimmins Unveils Festive Parking Grace For Lisburn And Newry
Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins has introduced a seasonal pilot giving drivers an additional hour's grace after their paid parking session ends in on-street bays within the Controlled Parking Zones in Lisburn and Newry, meaning motorists can return to their vehicles within that period without receiving a ticket.
