Four Men Arrested For Dissident Activity

Four men have been arrested in Newtownabbey on suspicion of dissident republican activity.

PSNI officers detained the men on Thursday evening aged 30,35 and 46.

They are being questioned in Antrim police station.

Man Jailed For 1997 Police Station Bomb
A 41 year-old man has been jailed for seven and a half years after an attack on a Co Tyrone police station almost two decades ago. Paul Campbell was handed the sentence at Belfast Crown Court today, Wednesday 26 February, following the explosion at Coalisland Police Station in March 1997.

Three Detained In Dissident Probe
Three men have been arrested by the PSNI in connection with dissident republican activity. The men, aged 24, 25 and 43, were arrested in the cityside and waterside areas of L'Derry on Thursday. They have been taken to Antrim Police Station for questioning.

Woman Arrested Following Domestic Stabbing
A woman has been arrested for attempted murder after a man was stabbed in what police say was a "violent domestic incident". Officers attended the scene in the Fairgreen Avenue of Keady, Co Armagh shortly before 9pm on Monday 17 February. A man in his 20s was found with several stab wounds to his back and abdominal area.

Man Detained Over Dissident Activity
A man is being questioned by police over dissident public activity. The 52-year-old was arrested in Antrim on Monday by the Serious Crime Branch. He is being detained at the Antrim Serious Crime Suite.

Men Arrested Over Dissident Activity
Two men have been arrested by detectives from the PSNI's Serious Crime Branch investigating dissident Republican activity in L'Derry. A number of suspected firearms, a quantity of ammunition and a suspected pipe bomb were recovered when police stopped two vehicles in the Northland Road area of the city at around 20:00 on Friday 12 April.
