Man Dies Falling From Nightclub Balcony

A man has died after falling from the balcony of a nightclub.

37-year-old Kevin McBride fell to his death at Dicey Reilly’s in Market Street, Strabane, at about 02:00 on Sunday morning.

Police are currently investigating and have appealed to anyone who was at the nightclub at that time and who may have witnessed something to contact them.

Pipe Bombs Found In West Belfast

Three pipe bombs have been found in the west Belfast area.

The devices were found on Friday evening as Army bomb experts were called to the Colinglen Road.

The road was cordoned off at its junction with the Ballycolin Road.

The road has now been reopened, while the devices have been sent away for forensic examination.

Man Rescued From Burning House

A 32-year-old man had to be rescued by the Fire Service on Saturday evening.

The incident occurred at a house in Greenwell Place, Newtownards, at about 21:00.

The man was taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire outbreak is currently being investigated.

Man Fined Over Quad Bike Incident

A man has been given a driving ban and a £350 fine after admitting to driving a quad bike without insurance, a license or a vehicle test certificate.

Police stopped Ryan Johnston, 22, from Fergleen Park, as he drove the quad in the Galliagh area in April.

He had bought the £500 bike for his three-year-old son for Christmas and claimed he was driving it to his sister’s house to store it.

The judge at Londonderry Magistrates Court asked regarding the buying of a quad bike for a three-year-old, to which defence solicitor Paddy McGurk replied it was a long-term investment.

The PSNI are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a young boy in a quad bike incident in Killeavy on Thursday, 02 January. Police received a report of a 13-year-old boy being injured following an incident involving a quad bike on the Low Road. The boy was taken to hospital where he tragically passed away.

Man Killed In Quad Bike Accident
A man has died in a quad bike accident in Co Tyrone. The man, believed to be in his 40s, was killed at the scene in the Plumbridge area just before 5pm on Thursday, 02 November. Rapid response paramedics and an air ambulance attended the scene. Sinn Féin MLA Declan McAleer said the community is in "shock".
