Man robbed at gunpoint in Newtownards
Police in Newtownards are appealing for information after a man was held up at gunpoint and robbed last night.
As the man made a pizza delivery to an address at Ballyreagh Way at Newtownards at around 10.30 pm he was approached by three masked men. One of the robbers was armed with a gun and another with an iron bar. They demanded money, then searched the man's car and took a sum of cash before they made off on foot.
Anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area are asked to contact detectives at Newtownards on 028 9181 8080 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
