Swail fails to pocket second round Ebdon tie
Northern Ireland's Joe Swail has been knocked out of this year's World Snooker Championship after being beaten 10-8 by Malta's Tony Drago.
The 2001 semi-finalist had won the first three frames of the evening to turn a 5-4 first-session deficit into a 7-5 advantage.
However, Drago fought back and nicked the 13th frame before Swail restored his two-frame cushion with a 8-6 lead.
But that didn't stop the Malta man from polishing off a century break in the 14th which started a run of four frames to seal the match.
Drago will now meet last year's Crucible winner, Peter Ebdon, who defeated another Northern Irish man, Gerard Greene, 10-3 in his first round match at Sheffield.

Man Injured After Shots Fired At House In Rathfriland
An investigation has been launched after shots were fired at a house in Rathfriland in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday, 05 March. Police received a report that two shots had been fired through the front window of a house in the Wright's Park area at around 12.35am, causing minor injuries to a man who was in the living room at the time.

Man And Woman Jailed For 'Brutal And Senseless Attack'
The PSNI have welcomed the sentencing of two people at Laganside Crown Court for a range of offences including grievous bodily harm with intent, threats to kill, common assault and possession of an offensive weapon. 26-year-old Dylan Black, from the Lisburn area, was sentenced to seven years in prison. He will serve three years on license.

Police Investigating Man's Death Following Ballynahinch Collision
The PSNI have launched an investigation into the circumstances leading to the death of an elderly man following a collision in Ballynahinch. It it understood that police were called at approximately 4.10pm on Monday 08 April, to reports of the "sudden death"of an elderly man at a quarry in the Newcastle Road area of Seaforde.
