Man Jailed For Life After Pleading Guilty To Murder

A man has been jailed for life for murdering a woman in his flat.

Kaspars Stamers, 29, pleaded guilty to murdering Ksenjia Vorosilina.

He appeared at Craigavon Crown Court today.

The 28-year-old woman was found stabbed to death at Stamers' home in Warren Grove, Lisburn, on 28 May last year.

Belfast man pleads guilty to attempted murder charge
A Belfast man charged with attempted murder has pleaded guilty at court today. Gerard Donegan last week apologised for attacking Maurice McCracken in March 2003 with a hammer. The resulting injuries left the 56-year-old man severely brain damaged and unable to walk.
