NI Construction Industry Declines
Northern Ireland's construction industry continued to decline compared to the rest of the UK in the three months to the end of March, according to a new survey.
The latest Construction Market Survey from the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) shows all sectors of the industry saw falling workloads.
The survey also said that the outlook remained negative.
RICS Northern Ireland spokesman Jim Sammon said: "Activity is falling, and the key challenges for the sector remain.
"Finance is constrained, private sector activity remains scarce, and public demand remains constrained.
"Many firms are increasingly turning to markets outside of Northern Ireland for work."

A man has died following a collision in Moy, Co Tyrone. The incident was reported to police at around 8pm on Wednesday evening, 18 December. Police said the Trewmount Road remained closed on Thursday morning. Local diversions are in place.

A quantity of explosives and explosive material have been found by police in Co Tyrone. A search of land in the Cemetery Road area of Strabane was carried out on Sunday morning. It is understood the search was related to dissident republican terrorism.
