Explosives Found In Co Tyrone Search
A quantity of explosives and explosive material have been found by police in Co Tyrone.
A search of land in the Cemetery Road area of Strabane was carried out on Sunday morning.
It is understood the search was related to dissident republican terrorism.
A spokesman for the PSNI said detectives from PSNI's Serious Crime Branch had recovered "what is believed to be a quantity of explosives and explosive material".
Army technical officers were called to the scene, but no homes were evacuated.
Roads in the area also remained open during the operation.

Man Arrested In Connection With Newry Shooting
A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting at an industrial estate in Newry. The incident happened at Carnbane Industrial Estate, off Tandragee Road, on Tuesday morning. The suspect was arrested following search operations in Newry on Thursday. He is being held on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm.

PSNI In Joint Search Operation
A joint search operation has been launched by the PSNI, South Wales Police and the UK Border Agency for a missing 34-year-old man. It is understood that the agencies are looking for Khalil Fawzy, who was allegedly last seen on Newry Road, Warrenpoint Harbour, at around 16:45 on Sunday.

Weapons and bombs recovered during midnight raid
Police have seized weapons and explosives following a search of a house in nationalist area of north Belfast. The search operation, which took place shortly before midnight on Saturday, January 12, recovered four steel-cased pipe bombs packed with ball bearings and nails, an anti-personnel mine containing high explosives and two detonators.
