Man Arrested In Connection With Newry Shooting

A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting at an industrial estate in Newry.

The incident happened at Carnbane Industrial Estate, off Tandragee Road, on Tuesday morning.

The suspect was arrested following search operations in Newry on Thursday. He is being held on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm.

Police have issued an appeal for anyone with any information about the shooting or anyone who was in the area at the time, to contact them.
