Man Charged With Explosives And Firearms Offences After Armagh Search
A man detained after officers searched a property in Corrigan Court in Armagh yesterday morning has been charged to court.
The 56-year-old, who was arrested on suspicion of making or possessing explosives under suspicious circumstances, has been charged with several offences. These include making explosives under suspicious circumstances, possessing explosives under suspicious circumstances, possession of firearms or ammunition in suspicious circumstances, and possession of firearms or ammunition without certificate.
He is expected to appear before Armagh Magistrates Court, sitting in Newry, today, Wednesday 30 September.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
