Pipe Bomb Explodes In Dundonald
A pipe bomb has exploded in Dundonald, just outside east Belfast.
The incident occurred on Thursday at Millers Forge.
Army bomb experts were called to the scene. They examined a device that had been found in a garden and confirmed it was a viable pipe bomb that had been detonated.
Man Charged Over Rape And Assault
A 28-year-old man has been charged with rape and sexual assault.
The charges follow an incident in Belfast city centre in February.
The man will appear before Laganside Magistrates' Court on 29 July.
Drugs Warning Renewed
The PSNI has reiterated a warning to the public not to take green ecstasy pills currently circulating in Northern Ireland.
The pills, known as Green Rolexes, were seized recently and found to contain highly toxic chemicals.
The appeal follows the deaths of eight people last month. Police are still investigating, but believe the deaths were caused by the pills.
Two Convicted Of Benefit Fraud
Two people have been convicted at Belfast Magistrates' Court for claiming benefits they were not entitled to.
Jacqueline Shortt (28) of Lenadoon Avenue, Belfast claimed Income Support and Housing Benefit totalling £1,631 while failing to declare employment. She was fined £500 and ordered to pay court costs of £40.
Brendan McGrandles (26) of Gracehill Court, Belfast claimed Jobseekers Allowance and Housing Benefit totalling £811 while failing to declare employment. He was given 80 hours community service.

Man Bailed Over Sex Offences
A 40-year-old man has appeared before Belfast Magistrates Court today, charged in connection with a number of sexual offences. The man faces on charge of rape, two charges of sexual assault and one charge of sexual activity with a child.

Two due in court charged with riotous behaviour
A 21-year-old-man is due to appear in Belfast Magistrates Court today, charged with riotous assembly. The man, who is from the Highfield area of the city, is charged in connection with riotous behaviour in North Belfast, following the contentious Whiterock parade on September 10, 2005.

Viable Pipe Bomb Found In North Belfast
A viable pipe bomb has been found in north Belfast, police have confirmed. Police and army bomb experts discovered the device in the garden of a house in Shore Crescent on Monday. The pipe bomb has been removed for further examination. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Residents Return To Homes After Security Alert In North Belfast Ends
Residents have returned to their homes following a security alert in north Belfast. A suspicious object was discovered at the junction of North Queen Street and Brougham Street on Tuesday, however it was found to be 'nothing untoward'. Army bomb experts examined the object on Tuesday evening.
