Two Arrested Over Dissident Republican Activity

Two people have been arrested in L'Derry following an investigation into dissident republican activity.

The woman, 43, and the man, 44, were arrested in the Marlborough Avenue area on Monday.

They are currently being questioned at Antrim police station.

PSNI Name Kilkeel Murder Victim As Bobbie McKee
The PSNI's Major Investigation Team have named the man who was murdered in Kilkeel on Thursday, 21st March as Bobbie McKee. Mr McKee, who was 69-years-old, was pronounced dead after his body was located in a property in the Newcastle Road area last Thursday afternoon following a report of a concern for safety for a couple.

Appeal Following Serious Collision In Gilford
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on Banbridge Road, Gilford on Saturday 9th March. Just after 10.50pm, it was reported that two vehicles had collided on the road between Lawrencetown and Gilford.

Man Arrested In Connection With Dissident Republican Activity
The PSNI have arrested a man in connection with dissident republican activity in L'Derry. The 21-year-old is currently being questioned in custody. He was detained in the Creggan area under the Terrorism Act. The man arrested was connected to dissident activity, including a paramilitary-style assault in the city on 07 June.

Man Arrested Over Violent Dissident Republican Activity Released
A man arrested in connection with violent dissident republican activity in Co L'Derry has been released. The 27-year-old suspect was arrested by police from the Serious Crime Branch on Thursday, 30 June. He has been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).
