Grafton launch new recruitment website
Grafton, Ireland’s leading independent recruitment agency, has developed a new website that includes several unique interactive features ranging from a virtual interview to online CV creation.
All vacancies within Grafton Crew from across Grafton’s national and international network will be accessible on the site.
Explaining the site, Grafton Crew Manager, Pat Cole, commented: “This new website is an excellent resource for people who are seeking employment or thinking about a career change. They will be able to register with Grafton from any PC, receive information by email about suitable jobs and have access to an extensive database of jobs across the sector.”
Speaking alongside Pat Cole at the launch of the site, Grafton Recruitment Chief Executive Ms Barbara O’Hare, said, “By logging onto www.grafton-group.com, those people who are looking for new employment in the construction and engineering industries, whether it is a temporary or permanent position will have access to the necessary information to find the right job.”

HMV To Open New Store In Dublin
HMV has announced that it will create 35 new posts in Dublin. The firm is to open a new store on Grafton street in the former Awear premises, however an opening date has not been yet been set. Hilco Capital, the firm who bought HMV from the receiver in January, announced the news.

RBS Closure Announcement Will Cost Jobs
According to Unite union nearly 500 jobs will be lost when the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) closes its site at Bristol. The closure,which will see 440 staff lose their jobs, comes as part of the cuts announced last year when the bank revealed that up to 3,000 jobs would be lost.

Purepipe To Create Six New Jobs
Belfast-based Purepipe is investing £250,000 and creating six new jobs as part of plans to boost sales in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland. Invest Northern Ireland has offered the company £45,000 towards its expansion which involves investing in new state-of-the-art specialised pipe manufacturing equipment needed to target new business.
