Stream Global Services Announces 200 Seasonal Posts

Stream Global Services in Dublin has announced a major hiring drive in the Dublin area to fill more than 50 permanent and 200 seasonal positions for its facilities in Swords & Santry.

Stream operates from these two facilities, which are among the company’s more than 55 contact centres worldwide. The new positions across the Dublin sites will focus on providing technical support solutions for one of Stream's global clients – a leading name in video gaming systems.

Stream Global Services won a contract with Microsoft to become the European customer service centre for its Xbox 360 games console customers. Stream currently employs about 300 staff at its Santry offices.

Call Centre Crisis Threatens 250 Jobs
Fears are growing for the overall future of one of Londonderry's biggest employers. Stream International called staff together for a major announcement this afternoon. It emerged that 250 workers could lose their jobs if another contract is not found in 90 days.
