12 July Rioter Jailed
A man who jumped on top of a police Landrover during 12 July riots in Belfast has been jailed for three months.
James Moore, 30, of Hillhall Park in Lisburn, admitted charges of riotous behaviour and attempted criminal damage.
He was caught on police CCTV jumping on top of the vehicle, waving a Northern Ireland flag and attacking police lines.
He also attempted to tear off a wing mirror.
Serious rioting was seen in the city on 12 July this year, after loyalists took to the streets to protests against a Parades Commission ruling that said the Orange Order could only march through the predominantly nationalist area of Ardoyne in north Belfast once during the day.
When officers attempted to block the parade from passing, loyalists attacked police lines with missiles that included bottles, wood, golf balls and concrete slabs.
Police Arrest Subway Hammer Attack
Police are investigating an attempted robbery after staff in a Subway sandwich shop in west Belfast were threatened by a man with a hammer.
The incident happened in the Falls Road franchise on yesterday afternoon at about 17:00 when the man entered the shop, threatened staff and tried to grab the till.
He made off in the direction of Cavendish Square empty handed.
He is described as wearing a navy blue coat with a hood, navy blue jeans, bright white trainers, a cap and gloves.
Newtownabbey Bomb Alert Ends
A Newtownabbey bomb alerted has ended, after police found "nothing untoward" at the scene.
The alert began near a fitness premises on the Shore Road.
30 Cannabis Plants Seized
30 cannabis plants have been seized in Limavady, County L'Derry.
The plants were recovered following a search of the house in the Glenbank Walk area on Tuesday.
A man, believed to be in his forties, was arrested, but has since been released on bail.

Two Men Convicted In Paramilitary Crime Task Force Investigation
The PSNI have welcomed the sentencing of two men at Laganside Crown Court for a number of offences, following a major investigation into the activities of the east Belfast UVF. James McGrogan, aged 37, and 32-year-old Christopher Cullen were both convicted on Thursday 18th April, for a number of drug-related offences.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.
