Fire At Co Tyrone Factory

A blaze has broken out at a plastics factory at Benburb, Co Tyrone.

The alarm was raised shortly before 10.45pm on Thursday night.

Some 40 firefighters attended the scene with appliances from Armagh, Dungannon and Portadown.

In a statement, the NI Fire and Rescue Service said: "Three main jets were in use to extinguish the blaze in the building which was being used for industrial manufacturing involving plastics."

There are no further details about the incident.

Police in Magherafelt have slammed those who choose to drink and drive following a collision in County L'Derry. The incident happened at around lunchtime on Monday 20 May in Straw, a small village just outside Draperstown. Delivery Driver's Car Set On Fire In Co Down
Police have launched an investigation after a delivery driver's car was set on fire while he was sitting in the vehicle in Co Down. The man, aged in his 40s, was delivering food to a house in Fairfield Place in Newtownards when the attack happened at around 10.45pm on Tuesday, 06 February.

Around 15 mobile homes have been destroyed in an arson attack in Magheralin, Co Down. The incident happened at a property in the Drumnabreeze Road area on Sunday, 28 January. It is believed that the mobile homes were worth a total value of around half a million pounds.
