Public Consulted On New Ormeau Lagan Footbridge
The Department for Regional Development is seeking for the public's view on proposals for a new pedestrian cycle bridge across the River Lagan between the Gasworks and Ormeau Park in Belfast.
The aim of the scheme is to improve accessibility to Ormeau Park, the Gasworks, city centre and Central Station for local communities and commuters.
It will also improve access for local communities to leisure facilities, places of employment, schools, colleges, pubs, restaurants and shops.
The various options for the bridge's design can be viewed on the Department's web page.

DoH Calls For Participants For New Obesity Strategic Framework
The Department of Health has invited the public to participate in the development of 'Heathy Futures', a new Obesity Strategic Framework. The Department launched two separate public consultations on the development of a new Regional Obesity Management Service and a new Obesity Strategic Framework which both close on 16 February 2024.
