Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD said: "Big data is a sector which we have supported as part of our Action Plan for Jobs, and we put in place a number of measures to target opportunities, including establishing a technology centre in this area. The announcement by Global Reviews shows the possibilities that exist in this sector. Here is a leading research and marketing company, using big data to improve its service, establishing a European HQ in Cork and 30 jobs. I wish them every success with this project and look forward to future growth.

"The opening of our European headquarters reflects our continued global expansion, and we are delighted to establish our organisation in Ireland. Global Reviews is a global leader in helping some of the best known and the largest ecommerce brands in the world optimise their digital marketing and online sales with unique insights about their potential customers,” said Nicholas Greig, European Regional Director, Global Reviews. “We chose Cork because of the city’s positive energy, the calibre of the local workforce, the fact that we have secured many Ireland based clients in the insurance, banking and retail ecommerce markets, as well as the ease of access to European markets."
