Pair Arrested Over Larne Disorder

Two men have been arrested and detained by detectives investigating serious disorder in Larne, County Antrim.

A crowd of over 100 people damaged homes and property and attacked police in the Knockdhu Park and Ferris Avenue areas of the town on 30 March.

Detectives detained two men, aged 24 and 48, in the Larne and Antrim areas under the Terrorism Act on Thursday. They have been taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite for questioning.

The two arrests today bring the total number in connection with the incident to 19.

Larne Disorder - Man Arrested
A man has been arrested by detectives investigating serious disorder in Larne, County Antrim. A crowd of over 100 people damaged homes and property in the Knockdhu Park and Ferris Avenue areas of the town on 30 March. The PSNI said a 24-year-old man had been arrested in the Larne area under the Terrorism Act on Tuesday.

Two Arrested In Connection With West Belfast Stabbing
A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with a serious stabbing incident in west Belfast in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday, 10 April. Just after 2.45am, police received a report from our colleagues in northern Ireland Ambulance Service that a man had been stabbed in the St Bernadette's Avenue area.
