P7 Pupils Find Body On County L'Derry Beach
Police have launched an investigation after Primary School children discovered a man's body at Magilligan Point beach in County Londonderry on Tuesday morning.
A group of pupils found the body during a field trip.
A post-mortem examination is to be carried out to determine the cause of death and although the police have confirmed it was a man, no further details have been released.
The principal Paul Sheridan said the children "deserve much praise for their maturity in this very unfortunate situation".
The pupils parents have been contacted and a councillor is on stand-by at the school.

Man Jailed For Manslaughter Of David James Conville
A 31-year-old man has been jailed at Belfast Crown Court for the manslaughter of David James Conville in south Belfast in May, 2022. Edward Kelly was sentenced to serve three-and-a-half years, half of his sentence will be served in custody and half will be served on licence, following his guilty plea last November.

Man Wanted In Lithuania Arrested In Magherafelt
The PSNI have arrested a 23-year-old man in Magherafelt wanted in Lithuania to face charges of human trafficking. The man was arrested by officers from the Police Service's local policing team in Magherafelt, with assistance from the International Policing Unit. He is expected appear before extradition court in Belfast later today.

Death Of Kilkeel Man Being Treated As Murder
A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man in Kilkeel. On Thursday, 21 March, police received a report of a concern for safety for a couple at a property in the Newcastle Road area of the town shortly after 12.50pm. On arrival, officers located the body of a man who was unconscious and not breathing.
