Woman, 76, Released In Connection With 1989 Murder

A 76-year-old woman, arrested this morning (24 June), in connection with the murder of a teenager 25 years ago, has been released unconditionally, police have confirmed.

Caroline Graham, 19, disappeared in April 1989. She was originally from Newry but had been living with her boyfriend in Hanover Street, Portadown, at the time of her disappearance. She is thought to have been in living in Portadown for two years before she went missing.

Her body has never been found.

Earlier on Tuesday, detectives investigating the teenager's disappearance said a woman had been arrested in Portadown and was helping police with their inquiries.
