Investigation Underway After Cars Attacked In E.Belfast

An investigation has been launched after two cars were damaged in separate attacks on Sunday in east Belfast.

Police say that the window of a parked car in Park Avenue was smashed with a brick, while paint was thrown on another car in Colvil Street.

A 31-year-old man has been arrested for criminal damage and threats to commit criminal damage.

Police are continuing their inquiries into both attacks.

Police Appeal For Missing Causeway Tourists

The PSNI have appealed for help in tracing two Chiness tourists, missing since 29 July.

30-year-old Xiaofang Ni and 26-year-old Zhiling Ni where last seen at the Giants Causeway. The woman failed to return to their tour bus whilst visiting the Giants Causeway, Bushmills on  29 July.

Xiaofang Ni is approximately 5'2" tall, slim build, when last seen she was wearing a yellow jumper, blue jeans and flip flops, with short black hair.

Zhiling Ni is approximately 5'2" tall, slim build, wearing a pink jumper, blue jeans and flip flops.

Police are asking anyone who knows of their whereabouts to contact Police at Coleraine on the non emergency number 101.

Health And Safety Executive Investigation Mini-Train Incident

The Health and Safety Executive have launched an investigation after 12 children and five adults were injured when a mini-train overturned.

The incident happened at Drumhoney Holiday Park, a caravan park in Irvinestown, Co Fermanagh on Sunday morning.

It is understood that the injuries suffered where minor, but the 17 people were taken for treatment at South West Acute Hospital in Enniskillen.

The Health and Safety Executive said they were investigating the incident.

Thirty Cars Damaged By Youths In South Belfast
PSNI are hunting for two young males who allegedly damaged thirty cars parked in the West Belfast area. The youngsters are reported to have "scratched along the entire sides of these vehicles while walking past them", causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.

Major Investigation Launched As Man's Body Found In L'Derry
Five people have been released on bail pending further enquiries into the death of a man in L'Derry. Officers cordoned off a house in the Lincoln Court area shortly after 10am on New Year's Day, after a body was found in a house in the estate.

Number Of Cars Damaged Overnight In L'Derry
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information after a number of cars were damaged in the Ballymagroarty area of Londonderry overnight. It was reported that sometime during the early hours of the morning on Monday 13 August, the rear windows of nine cars parked in the Swift Court, Dunluce Court, Sheelin Park and Rafferty Close areas were smashed.
