Man Stabbed In North Belfast
Police have launched an investigation after a 35-year-old man was stabbed in an attack in north Belfast on Thursday.
The man was assaulted by two men in the early hours, just before 04:20, at Brookhill Avenue.
Police said the man was stabbed in his left arm and left leg and also had his wallet taken in the incident.
The victim was then taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries, which are not thought to be life-threatening.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact investigating officers on the non-emergency number 101.

A man aged in his 50s has died in a house fire in Magherafelt, Co L'Derry An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire at a house on Highfield Road, however police said that they don't believe the fire was suspicious. The man's identity has not yet been released.

Police have said they believe missing Omagh man, Shane Sharkey, has been found in the Republic of Ireland. A police appeal for help in finding the 35-year-old has been cancelled, with police saying they now believe they know where he is. No further details have been released but police thanked the public for their help.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of George Gilmore
A 39-year-old man has been arrested by police investigating the murder of George Gilmore. Mr Gilmore, aged 44, was shot in the neck in Carrickfergus on Monday, 13 March. He died from his injuries in hospital the following day, 14 March. The suspect was detained in Co Antrim on Wednesday, 12 April, and is being questioned at Musgrave police station.
