Man In Court After £25k Drug Seizure

Police have charged a 41-year-old man with possession of a class A drug and possession of a class A drug with intent to supply.

The charges follow the stop and search of a car in the Oldpark Road area of Lisburn, County Antrim, on the afternoon of Saturday 20 September.

A police search seized approximately £25,000 worth of suspected cocaine and the man has also been reported to the PPS for possession of a class B controlled drug and possessing items that breach a registered trademark.

He is due to appear at Lisburn Magistrates Court on the morning of Monday 22 September.

Man Charged In Possession Of Heroin
A man is to appear in court charged in possession of heroin. Police arrested five people during searches of a property in Newry on Wednesday, 16 January. Two men have also been charged in possession of a Class A drug. A 50-year-old woman has also been charged with permitting premises to be used for the supply of a Class A drug.

Belfast Man Handed Two-Year Stalking Protection Order
The PSNI have welcomed a two-year Stalking Protection Order (SPO) handed down to a 46-year-old Belfast man at Belfast Magistrates Court. The man had been found guilty of stalking and harassing his 50-year-old female ex-partner.
