Man Charged After Cannabis Factory Uncovered In Cookstown
A 37-year-old is due in court after police uncovered a cannabis factory in the Kinturk Road area of Cookstown on Friday, 5 December.
The man has been charged with cultivating cannabis, possession of a Class B controlled drug, possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply, and criminal damage.
He is due to appear before Dungannon Magistrates’ Court today, Monday, 8 December. As is usual procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
Two other men, aged 33 and 36/41, who were arrested on suspicion of the same offences, have been released on bail pending further police enquiries.
The man has been charged with cultivating cannabis, possession of a Class B controlled drug, possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply, and criminal damage.

Officers from the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch on the Grosvenor Road made the arrest after searching two properties on Tuesday 13 November where the cannabis was discovered.
