Man Arrested Over Tommy Crossan Murder

Police have arrested a 44-year-old man in connection with the murder of Tommy Crossan in west Belfast last year.

The man has been taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite for questioning.

Mr Crossan, a senior figure in the Continuity IRA, was shot dead on the Springfield Road on 18 April 2014.

Man Arrested In Connection With Sean Fox Murder Investigation
PSNI detectives investigating the murder of Sean Fox in west Belfast in 2022 have arrested a 40-year-old man. The man was arrested following searches in west Belfast this morning, 1 February. The suspect was arrested under the Terrorism Act, and has been taken to the Serious Crime Suite in Musgrave for questioning.

BT is to create 35 new jobs in Northern Ireland. The new roles will be based in BT Flex, BT's contact centre operation in Riverside Tower in Belfast, and will include full-time and part-time customer service advisor roles.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
