Viable Pipebomb Made Safe In Newtownabbey
The PSNI are appealing for information after a viable pipebomb was thrown at a house in Newtownabbey.
Police were called to the incident on Voltaire Gardens on Tuesday night and found the device in the garden of the house.
A number of homes in the area were evacuated and Army Technical Officers (ATO) were called.
The ATO made the device safe before removing it for further investigation.
Anyone with information regarding the device is asked to contact Musgrave police station on the non-emergency number 101 or contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.

The SDLP Opposition at Stormont has said that the appointment of Richard Pengelly as Chief Executive of the Education Authority "raised a number of questions". Mr Pengelly, who has been working as Permanent Secretary at the Department of Justice, was appointed to the new role on Thursday 21 March, by Education Minister Paul Givan.
