Man Arrested Following Paramilitary Style Attack
Police have arrested a 33 year old man following a paramilitary style attack in north Belfast on Thursday night.
The assault happened in Forthriver Drive at around 10pm.
Detective Constable Gareth Hussey said: "The 36 year old victim was set upon by around seven males who forced their way into his home.
"Some of the assailants are understood to have been armed with baseball bats."
The victim sustained a number of suspected fractures however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
A man was arrested in the Crumlin Road area at around 2am.
He remains in police custody.

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

Woman Arrested After Sudden Death Of Man In L'Derry
A woman has been arrested following the sudden death of a man in Magherafelt. A 46-year-old man died in L'Derry in the early hours of Tuesday, 05 December. Police are treating the death as suspicious. A 32-year-old woman has been arrested and is assisting police with their enquiries.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
