Police Appeal Following Armed Robbery In West Belfast

Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in west Belfast on Saturday.

A man armed with a gun robbed a credit agent in the Westrock Gardens area at around 10.30am.

The man made off with a sum of money.

He was wearing a balaclava, a black leather jacket and is described as being about 5'6" tall, of slim build and had a Belfast accent.

The credit agent, a man aged in his 70s, was not injured in the incident.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Police in south Belfast are appealing for information following an armed robbery at an off licence in Agincourt Avenue last night. At around 5.50pm a man armed with a handgun entered the premises in the Holy Lands area and, after threatening a female member of staff, stole a sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes.

Police appeal for information following north Belfast robbery
Police in north Belfast are appealing for information following an armed robbery in a convenience store in the area last night. A masked man, believed to be armed with a handgun, entered the shop on the lower Antrim Road at around 9pm. He threatened staff before making off with the contents of a safe, which has been reported as being substantial.

Police Appeal Following Two Armed Robberies In North And South Belfast
Police are appealing for information in connection with two armed robberies in north and south Belfast. A man, armed with a knife, threatened staff at a shop on the Ravenhill Road at around 8.20pm on Friday, 01 April. A sum of money was taken and the man got into a silver car which was parked on My Lady's Road.

Man Armed With Screwdriver Threatens Staff In South Belfast
A man armed with a screwdriver has threatened staff at premises in south Belfast, according to the police. The suspect entered the shop on the Dublin Road at around 10.15am on Sunday, 02 May. He threatened staff and made off with a sum of cash. However, the man believed to have been involved in the incident, was detained by members of the public.

Police Appeal Following Armed Robbery In North Belfast
Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in north Belfast. The incident occurred in the North Street area just before 9am on Friday, 17 June. A man armed with a knife stole 50 to 60 cartons of cigarettes from a lorry making a delivery to a shop. He made off in the direction of Carlisle Parade.
