Baby In House During Burglary In Coleraine

A baby and three women were inside a house when it was burgled by a gang of men in Coleraine in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The victims were not injured, however they were left badly shaken, according to the police.

The attack occurred in the Loughanhill Park area at around 1.20am.

The gang smashed the windows of the property before eventually forcing their way in.

Some damage was caused to the internal living room door before the men made off.

Detective Inspector Alan Pyper said: "At this time we believe as many as five males were involved in this attack. I am keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has any information."

Armed Gang Attack Two Men In Co Antrim
Two men, aged 19 and 22, have been injured after being assaulted by a gang, armed with weapons including a meat cleaver, in Co Antrim. The attack happened on the Antrim Road in Newtownabbey at around 2.15am on Sunday, 19 November. One of the men sustained injuries to his head and needed staples and the other had to have stitches for a hand injury.

Investigation Launched After Gang Attack Three Men In East Belfast
Police have launched an investigation after a gang armed with bats forced their way into a house in east Belfast and attacked three teenage men. The incident happened at a property in McArthur Court at around 9am on Sunday, 31 July. The gang of four men attacked three males, two aged 18 and one aged 19.

Bus Driver Robbed In Monkstown Estate
A Metro bus driver has been robbed after three masked men boarded the bus armed with a screwdriver in the Monkstown estate, at approximately 19.00 on Tuesday. The gang demanded cash before making off to a woodland close by.

Guns stolen in Co Antrim assault
Police are appealing for information after a gang assaulted a man and stole his guns in Co Antrim. The masked men forced their way into the man's home in Burnbrae in Bushmills at around 1.30am on Tuesday morning. They hit the man before tying his hands behind his back and escaping with three guns.
