Man Released In Connection With Paul McCauley Murder

One man, arrested in connection with the sectarian murder of Paul McCauley, has been released on bail.

The 36-year-old being questioned about the murder has been released pending further enquiries, according to the police.

A 28-year-old man remains in custody.

The two men were arrested on Thursday in L'Derry and Coleraine on suspicion of murder and the attempted murder of two other men injured in the attack.

Mr McCauley, 38, died in a care facility last month after being assaulted in July 2006. He was attending a summer BBQ at the rear of a house in Chapel Road at the time of the attack.

Four Charged In Connection With Blake Newland Murder

The Limavady teenager died after being found with serious stab wounds at a house in the town on Friday, 02 February. Two released in attempted murder probe
Two people who were arrested in connection with inquiries into the attempted murder of a man in Londonderry two weeks ago, have been released on police bail. Two others are still being held by police for questioning over the incident. The three men and a juvenile were arrested in the Fountain area of the city yesterday.
