Police Appeal For Witnesses To Armed Robbery
Police have appealed for information following the robbery of a commercial premises in the Lisburn Road area of Belfast on Saturday, 8 August.
Shortly after 13:00, two men, one armed with a knife, entered the shop and demanded money.
It is believed that the men fled the scene in a silver-coloured Mondeo.
Detective Sergeant Dolores Black said: "The man with the knife is described as being approximately 5'8" tall, of medium build. Wearing a black hooded jacket, blue checked face scarf and blue jeans.
"He appeared to have a tanned complexion. He had short grey hair with some grey facial hair growth and spoke with a local accent."
"The second man is described as wearing a two toned hooded top grey/black in colour with blue tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
"I would appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or observed these men making off in the silver Mondeo car to contact Detectives at Musgrave on the non-emergency number 101.
"Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."

Man Attacked In Bangor
A man has been attacked by a jogger in Bangor on Monday morning. The victim, who was walking his dog, was punched in the head on Ballyholme Esplanade at around 11.15am. His attacker is being described as in his 30s, around 6ft tall and muscular with short brown hair.

Local beaches awarded Blue Flags
Eight beaches in Northern Ireland have been awarded Blue Flags on meeting the guideline standards. Last year the same number of awards were given to beaches with litter-free sands and bathing waters. Portrush East Strand, which missed out last year, was added, while Downhill Beach has gone off the list.

Further Arrests In Pat McCormick Murder Probe
Detectives investigating the disappearance and murder of William (Pat) McCormick have arrested two men. The 55-year-old father of four was last seen on the evening of Thursday 30 May in Comber, County Down. He has not made contact with his family since and police believe he has sadly been killed.

Gang Steals Car From North Belfast House
A masked gang has stolen a man's car after threatening him at his home in North Belfast. Three men went into the house in Hopefield Avenue at around 9pm on Tuesday night. The gang threatened the man before making off in his navy blue Volkswagon Passat. The vehicle's registration is XCZ 5540.

Police in Armagh are appealing for help to trace 26-year-old Anthony Shortt. Mr Shortt has been missing since Sunday, 13 September, at around 8.30am. He is described as being 180cm tall, of medium build with blue eyes and dirty fair hair. When last seen he was wearing a brown t-shirt, jeans and trainers.
