Man Arrested For Possessing Indecent Images Of Children And Voyeurism

A 25-year-old man has been arrested for possessing indecent images of children and voyeurism following an incident at a leisure complex in Bangor.

Police launched an investigation after a man was seen holding a mobile phone "over the side of a cubicle" in the swimming pool changing area at the Aurora Leisure Complex on Saturday 15 August.

The man has been released on strict bail conditions is to be interviewed at a later date.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

22-Year-Old Man Jailed For Rape At Laganside Crown Court
A 22-year-old man has been sentenced to six years for rape at Laganside Crown Court. Ahmad Alsbaihi was sentenced to six years. He will serve three years in custody and three years on licence. He will be placed on the Sex Offenders Register and will be subject to a Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO) for 10 years.
