Jobs Boost In Ballincollig Welcomed

"The recent Ballincollig jobs boost is a welcome sign of the economic recovery in County Cork," said Fine Gael Cork North West TD, Áine Collins.

She said: "I recently attended Asystec Data Management Solutions who recently opened their fantastic new Suite & Innovation Lab in Ballincollig and announced 50 new jobs. In the same week I was in Esentire who also opened their European headquarters in Ballincollig, with plans for over 100 new jobs over the next five years.

"It is a really great vote of confidence in Ballincollig to have major international companies locating their European Headquarters here.

"Over 125,000 new jobs have been added since the launch of the Government’s Action Plan for Jobs in February 2012 and it is pivotal to the success of our plan to see places like Ballincollig playing a real part in the jobs recovery."
