Man Charged With Attempted Murder
A man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a stabbing in Armagh.
A 30-year-old man was attacked in the Killuney Drive area at around 3.40pm on Sunday. He was taken to hospital to receive treatment.
The 28-year-old suspect has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.
He is expected to appear before Armagh Magistrates' Court today, 03 November.

Man Charged With Attempted Murder
A 35-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. The victim, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition after being assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. The suspect is due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates' Court on Monday, 17 October.

A 44-year-old Armagh man has appeared in court in connection with two counts of attempted murder. Colm Joseph McGurk, of Lower English Street, appeared before Newry Magistrates’ Court accused of the attempted murder of Patrick and Eisha McGurk on Saturday.

Man Arrested Over George Gilmore Murder
Police have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the murder of loyalist George Gilmore. Mr Gilmore, aged 44, was shot in the neck in Carrickfergus on Monday, 13 March. He died from his injuries in hospital the following day, 14 March. A 32-year-old man arrested on Sunday, 19 March, has been released.
