Appeal Issued After Man Found Unconscious In Co Antrim

Police have launched an investigation after a man was found unconscious in Co Antrim.

The man was found at a construction site entrance near the Shore Road area in Greenisland at around 5am on Friday morning.

The man is being treated in hospital however he remains unconscious.

He was last seen at around midnight in Carrickfergus.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Co Antrim Man Found Dead In Ibiza Sustained Head Injuries
A County Antrim man found dead in a hotel room in Ibiza sustained head injuries, according to Ireland's expert State Pathologist. Alan Drennan, 21, was found dead just 24 hours after arriving in Ibiza. Mr Drennan was detained by Spanish police when he arrived on the holiday island, and friends claim that he was attacked by the police.
