Plane Makes Emergency Landing In Belfast

A plane had to make an emergency landing at Belfast International Airport after it was diverted due to high winds and ran low on fuel.

The Air France flight had 93 passengers on board was due to land in Dublin but got into difficulty on Thursday.

The airport confirmed the flight had landed safely in Belfast at 3.43pm.

No injuries were reported.

Passengers were taken to Dublin by coach.

United Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing At Shannon Airport
A United Airlines flight from Belfast to Newark has made an emergency landing at Shannon Airport in Co Clare. The Boeing 757-224 landed safely at the airport on Monday afternoon, 24 October, following a "mechanical issue". Journalist Lesley-Anne McKeown who was on the flight tweeted: "Full praise to staff on UA076 from Belfast to Newark.

Flybe Plane Makes Emergency Landing At Belfast International Airport
A Flybe plane has made an emergency landing at Belfast International Airport. The plane landed without nose-gear on the runway at around 1.30 pm today, 10 November. The BE331 flight to Inverness suffered technical difficulties after it took off from George Best Belfast City Airport at around 11.20am.
