Man Killed In Co Tyrone Crash Named

A 50-year-old man killed in a crash is Co Tyrone has been named.

Kieran McSorley was a passenger in one of the cars involved in the collision on the Omagh Road just before 7pm.

Three other people were taken to hospital to be treated, however their conditions are not known.

The road was re-opened at around 3am on Friday.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Man Stabbed During Attack In East Belfast
A man, aged in his 40's, has been stabbed during an attack in east Belfast. The victim was chased by a number of men from the Killagan Bend in the Cregagh area area, heading towards the Greenway just after 11 pm on Monday, 03 May. He was stabbed in the back and the head. The victim remains in a stable condition in hospital.

Man Shot In Both Legs In West Belfast
Police have issued an appeal for information following a shooting incident in west Belfast. According to reports, a man, aged in his 30s, was shot in both legs in a "paramilitary-style attack" on Downfine Walk in Turf Lodge at about 20:10 last night.

Man Injured In Craigavon Explosion
An investigation has been launched following an explosion in Craigavon. According to reports a man is being treated in hospital for injuries to his hands and chest after a device is said to have "partially exploded". A number of homes were evacuated in the Enniskeen area on Tuesday evening while army bomb experts investigated the scene.

Man Killed In Ballymena Car Crash Named
The man who was killed in a car crash in Ballymena on Tuesday was 66-year-old Vincent Kelly. Mr Kelly was the driver of one of the cars involved in the accident, which happened on the Lisnavenagh Road. The other drivers injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
