Man Injured After Trying To Stop Fight In Craigavon
Police in Craigavon are appealing for information after a well meaning man was hit with a bottle or stiletto heel as he attempted to stop a fight between two females.
The incident happened in the William Street area at around 1.30am on Saturday.
The man was taken to hospital to be treated, however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police Cancel Appeal For Missing Omagh Man
Police have said they believe missing Omagh man, Shane Sharkey, has been found in the Republic of Ireland. A police appeal for help in finding the 35-year-old has been cancelled, with police saying they now believe they know where he is. No further details have been released but police thanked the public for their help.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Man In Critical Condition After Hit And Run In Craigavon
Police are appealing for information following a serious hit and run road traffic collision in Craigavon on Monday, November 24. Shortly after 7:20 pm, a man in his 20s was involved in a collision with a van in the Enniskeen area. The driver of the van failed to stop and made off from the scene.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of George Gilmore
A 39-year-old man has been arrested by police investigating the murder of George Gilmore. Mr Gilmore, aged 44, was shot in the neck in Carrickfergus on Monday, 13 March. He died from his injuries in hospital the following day, 14 March. The suspect was detained in Co Antrim on Wednesday, 12 April, and is being questioned at Musgrave police station.
