Man Who Offered Children Money Urged To Come Forward
Police are calling for a man to come forward who offered money to children in Co Down and asked them not to tell their parents he had been there.
The girls were approached by the man in Bangor on Sunday evening.
Earlier reports suggested the man had exposed himself, however the police confirmed he did not.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "The incident has caused concern to the children, their parents and the wider community and we would ask this man to come forward to police to identify himself and explain why he spoke to the girls in the manner that he did.
"The man is described as dark haired, slim build wearing a grey and blue tracksuit. Anyone who knows who was responsible or can offer any assistance to police in identifying the man is asked to contact Ards police on 101."

Police Cancel Appeal For Missing Omagh Man
Police have said they believe missing Omagh man, Shane Sharkey, has been found in the Republic of Ireland. A police appeal for help in finding the 35-year-old has been cancelled, with police saying they now believe they know where he is. No further details have been released but police thanked the public for their help.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of George Gilmore
A 39-year-old man has been arrested by police investigating the murder of George Gilmore. Mr Gilmore, aged 44, was shot in the neck in Carrickfergus on Monday, 13 March. He died from his injuries in hospital the following day, 14 March. The suspect was detained in Co Antrim on Wednesday, 12 April, and is being questioned at Musgrave police station.

A man has been arrested in connection with police inquiries into a murder in 1988. The body of Lily Smyth, 66, was found in her flat at Moveen House in Dunmurry on October 9, 1988. The pensioner had been strangled. A police spokesperson said that a 43-year-old man had been arrested and is being questioned at Antrim Police Station.
