Investigation Launched Following Armed Robbery In South Belfast

Police have launched an investigation following an armed robbery in south Belfast.

Three men, armed with knives, entered premises on the Boucher Road at around 7am on Thursday, 21 April.

The men tied up two members of staff and made off with a sum of cash.

It is believed they left the scene in a white van in the direction of Boucher Crescent.

The members of staff were not injured, however they were left very badly shaken.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Arrested For Headbutting Female Police Officer
A 22-year-old man has been arrested in Newry for assaulting a police officer. While responding to a domestic related report, a local female officer was headbutted to the head, which caused swelling and bruising. The officer was seen by medical staff and her injuries were not more serious and she felt well enough to remain on duty.

Two Armed Men Rob Off Licence In Co Armagh
Police are appealing for information after two armed men robbed an off licence in Portadown, Co Armagh. The incident happened at premises in the Gilford Road area at around 9.40pm on Monday. The men, armed with a bat and a knife, threatened staff before making off with a sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes.
