Two Men Arrested Following Suspected Heroin Find In Co Down

Two men have been arrested after police seized suspected heroin, worth approximately £12,000, in Co Down.

The discovery was made in the Holywood Road area on Wednesday, 24 May.

The suspects, aged 38 and 23, have been arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences following a proactive operation by the Belfast District Support Team.

The 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of class A controlled drugs, possession of class A controlled drugs with intent to supply and conspiracy to supply class A controlled drugs.

The 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A controlled drugs and drugs importation.

The pair have been detained by the police.
